this is a photo of my friend, Jeremy Scott. Among other things, he plays bass for The Reigning Sound, one of the finest rock n roll bands around. Taken backstage at Irving Plaza in July, 2004 when The Reigning Sound were on tour with the Hives.... Those few $10 bills are Jeremy's per diem.

I HATE MONEY. Money just brings trouble. Trouble if you have it; trouble if you don't have it. Money is at the root of all evil, yet at the same time, it can stave off unhappiness.
I HATE MONEY.

Without money, its as if you don't exist. I just can't begin to complain enough about money. Money is a jailor. Money buys freedom.

It has been in the 70's for the past week or so. Of course, it actually DOES rain in LA and Southern California in general. We had 2 weeks of rain and it washed out a little beach hamlet.

Couldn't go anywhere south of here because Highway 101 was closed for a 20 mile stretch.
But the road is open now.

Onwards to the cold, so I can hunker down into my usual work ethic and get some serious stuff DONE.
